Safeguarding

We take safeguarding of everyone who’s involved in any way with St Paul’s seriously.

We recognise our responsibility to prevent the physical, spiritual, sexual, or emotional abuse or exploitation of children, young people and vulnerable adults whilst in our care.

How we do this

We have a Safeguarding Policy which sets out our safeguarding commitments.

Our approach to safeguarding is described in the Church of England’s Parish Safeguarding Handbook.

If you are concerned about the safety of a child, young adult or vulnerable person

Our Parish Safeguarding Representative if you have a concern about a child or young person is Meg Murphy.

Our Parish Safegurding Representative if you have a concern about an adult is Stewart Ruston.

To speak with either of these people call the Church Office on 01722 334005 or email safeguarding@wearestpauls.church.

If your concern relates to the Parish Safeguarding Representative or Rector, please contact the Diocese of Salisbury Safeguarding Officers –  Jem Carter on 07469 857888 or Suzy Futcher on 07500 664800.

In an emergency dial 999.
