Churches Together, Salisbury

We are active members of Churches Together – a collection of over 30 churches in Salisbury committed to working together to bring the good news of Jesus to our city. CTS initiates events such as the Big Farm Day Out, the Good Friday Walk of Witness and various Christmas and prayer events.


Open Doors

St Paul’s is a partner church with Open Doors a charity working to support persecuted Christians around the world. We hold a monthly prayer meeting for the suffering church on the first Thursday of every month as well as supporting open doors financially and in other ways.


The Bible Society

The Bible Society works in the UK and in key areas across the world to increase the availability and engagement iwth the Bible. We take the Bible and find ways to translate and distribute it, create digital formats, advocate for its place in society and help people relate to and make sense of it in their everyday lives.


Military Ministries International

Military Ministries International helps Christians in the military to make a difference throughout many of the world’s trouble spots.


The Trussell Trust

Best known for establishing the UK foodbank network, the Trussell Trust was founded by former members of St Paul’s (now living in New Zealand) and many of our current members continue to work at the local Trussell Trust offices and shops. The Trussell Trust is also linked to FSCI (Foundation for Socila Change and Inclusion) fsci.org who do a great work tackling poverty and exclusion in Bulgaria.


The Bridge Project

The Bridge works in local schools to help with the RE curriculum and to provide chaplaincy-style support through emotional literacy, mentoring and pastoral support for those with recognised difficulties.


Salisbury Street Pastors

Street Pastors is a partnership between local churches, police and other agencies to support urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue.


Precept Ministries UK

Precept teach simple, practical and effective skills for understanding and living out the Bible’s teaching. Precept Ministries’ European Directors are members of St Paul’s and work with churches, groups and individuals throughout the UK.


Rachel (Fishy) Nkuutu

Jinja, Uganda

Fishy is part of the YWAM team (Youth With A Mission) based in Jinja in SW Uganda. Their focus through their ‘ToRCH’ project includes:

  • a Health Clinic with community health outreach
  • Church leadership training and visits from Teams and Volunteers  
  • Children’s ministry through orphan support and education sponsorship

Fishy is a trained midwife and her responsibilities include advising on the medical work, administration in the office, helping with volunteer visits and caring for her 3 teenage stepdaughters.


Deborah and Sandro Cruz

Hertfordshire, UK

Deborah and Sandro are based at the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) headquarters in Harpenden where they are involved in various ministries in the UK and overseas.

They lead one of the UK’s ‘YWAM Discipleship Training Schools’. This is bilingual as both are Spanish speakers and involves an initial 12 week lecture phase followed by a period of practical outreach in the UK and a Spanish speaking country abroad.

With their gifts in visual arts and dance they are also pioneering the use of arts in communication, outreach, prayer and worship through YWAM’s ‘University of the Nations’ and more locally through the ‘Cultivate Arts Festival’ in Harpenden.


Nic and Sarah Arkley

Vancouver, Canada

Nic & Sarah Arkley moved to Vancouver Canada in May 2019 having completed training for ministry in the UK & previously spent time in Vancouver. In September 2020 they planted a new church in a developing residential area called South Surrey, British Columbia with help from Horizon Church, Foursquare Church and ARC church planting network.


Tom and Verity Clare

Arua, Uganda

Tom & Verity Clare moved out to Arua in North West Uganda in March 2020 in association with the CMS (Church Mission Society).  Tom is a GP and will be working with the Health Department of Madi and West Nile Diocese to improve the health of the local population including those in local South Sudanese refugee communities. Verity expects to initially spend most of her time home schooling and looking after their children and also hopes to get involved with peacebuilding work or English teaching.


Jess Regnart

Freedom in Christ

South Wales

Jess works for Freedom in Christ Ministries overseeing their work to equip the church to disciple teenagers and young adults.  Working on the production of new resources, she spearheaded and co-presented their new resource for 18-35s, “Disciple”.
When not working on new resources, Jess teaches church leaders and youth leaders around the UK on the Freedom in christ tools and principles.


Projects Delivering Hope

South Sudan

Projects Delivering Hope serves the people of South Sudan, by delivering tailor-made aid through practical projects. Working largely with the business community, PDH provides training and equipment, to help lift themselves out of poverty and to support themselves in the long term. These projects are delivered and implemented through the Anglican churches as they work in their local communities to bring relief and demonstrate God’s love in practical ways.
