New here?

Two seated women talking. One is wearing a stripy top of different colours and the other is wearing a pink top with a multi-coloured scarf. Both are holding mugs. There is a white board in the background and a table with cakes and fruit in the foreground.

Thinking about trying church, or experiencing how we do church at St Paul’s? You’ll be warmly welcomed – even if you’ve never been to church before.

All are welcome

Jesus welcomed everyone, and so do we.

Whether you’ve never been to church before or are a regular churchgoer looking for a church in Salisbury, just come along.

In-person or online

The most rewarding way of experiencing St Paul’s is by coming to a Sunday service, but you can see what it’s like by viewing one of our services live, or on catch-up, on our YouTube channel.

What to expect at a service

Services are a mix of songs led by a band, prayers, and teaching about the Christian life.

Children and young people have their own activities, so leave part-way through the service.

There are services at St Paul’s Church on Sundays at 10.30am and 6pm.

Questions we’re often asked

I’m not sure if I believe in God or Jesus. Can you help me work it out?

We’d love to help. If you come to a service ask any of the welcome team to help. Otherwise use the form on this page.

If you have lots of questions try the Alpha course. It won’t cost you anything.

What should I wear?

We have no rules. Just wear whatever you are comfortable in.

What about children?

On Sundays there are classes for children based on different age groups. Children go out to their classes early in the service.

Will there be someone who can show me where to sit?

You can sit wherever you like, but there’s always a team of people who will be welcoming people as they arrive. One of the team will be happy to guide you to a seat if you would like that.

Do I have to make a donation?

No. Donations are completely optional. If you want to donate the easiest way to do that is using a credit or debit card after a service.

Is there good disabled access?

Yes. We have a lift giving access to wheelchair users and anyone else who finds steps difficult.

Are there accessible toilets?

Yes. After going up the steps or lift everything is on one level.

What’s the style of music?

Music at services is led by a band. Sadly, our organ hasn’t worked for many years.

Sometimes the band is just someone singing with a guitar or keyboard. At other times there might be several singers, a drummer, bassist, guitar, and keyboard.

Often there is a traditional hymn followed by several more modern worship songs.

See our previous service videos to see what it is like.

Will there be someone who can pray for me?

Yes. There is always a team of people available to pray with anyone who wants prayer at any time during, or after, a service.

Do you have parking?

Yes. We have parking at the Church. However, this is often full by 10:15am on a Sunday morning.
